Four garages to compare

The city’s parking directory lists 19 public facilities. These four are useful starting points for comparing the central shopping and dining district. Follow the linked address for the complete rate schedule and directions.

How much does Beverly Hills public parking cost?

For the four city garages above, the published daily maximum is $22 and the evening entry rate is $5 after 6 p.m. Daytime charges differ:

  • 9510 Brighton / Rodeo, 242 N. Beverly / 241 N. Cañon, and 438 N. Beverly / 439 N. Cañon: two free hours, then $3 per half-hour.
  • 440 N. Camden: one free hour, then $1 per half-hour in the second hour and $3 per half-hour afterward.

As a comparison, exactly three hours under the standard daytime schedule works out to $6 at the first three garages and $8 at Camden. These are calculations from the published schedules, not quotes for a particular visit; early-bird offers and posted terms can change the result.

For a longer early arrival, 242 N. Beverly / 241 N. Cañon lists a $7 all-day rate for entry between 6 and 10 a.m. 440 N. Camden lists $8 for entry before 10 a.m. Check eligibility at the entrance. These city-garage rates do not describe hotel valet, private lots or street meters.

Understand the free period

Free time is an initial allowance, not a description of the entire visit. The city says it applies only to the first entry of the day; re-entry is subject to posted rates. If you expect to stay longer, compare the full rate schedule before choosing a garage.

The 440 North Camden listing is a useful example of why details matter: it offers one free hour, then charges $1 per half-hour during the second hour and $3 per half-hour afterward. That differs from the first-two-hours allowance shown for the other three garages above.

Each of these four listings currently shows a $5 flat rate for vehicles entering after 6 p.m. Check the entry-time condition: arriving earlier and leaving after 6 p.m. is not the same situation. Follow the facility’s displayed terms for your visit, including any changes or special-event arrangements.

Match parking to your visit

For a Rodeo Drive stop

Start by comparing the Brighton / Rodeo facility with your boutique’s address. A Sunday morning visit needs particular attention because that garage’s listed opening is 11 a.m. Use the Rodeo Drive guide to decide which part of the shopping district is your priority.

For Cañon Drive dining

Compare the two facilities with Cañon Drive entrances against the restaurant location. Their access hours differ, even though both show a two-hour initial free period. If dinner may run late, decide where you can retrieve the car before choosing on price alone. Our restaurant guide includes venue addresses.

For several downtown stops

Choose the garage after setting the route. Moving the car between nearby stops can cost time and may change the parking charge. The afternoon guide combines the sign, shopping district and gardens into a flexible sequence.

Check your vehicle needs

The facility pages list height clearances and EV equipment. Check these details for the entrance and area you plan to use, especially with a taller vehicle or roof-mounted equipment. A listed charger does not establish that a port will be free when you arrive.

For a specific access need, contact the city using the details on its parking page. Confirm the route from the garage to your destination as well as the space itself. A nearby address alone does not answer questions about elevators, slopes or step-free access.

Parking questions

Is all Beverly Hills parking free for two hours?

No. The examples above already differ, and street meters, private lots, hotel parking and valet services have their own terms. Use the information for the exact place you enter.

Does a 24-hour garage guarantee overnight hotel parking?

Confirm overnight arrangements and charges directly. Published access hours answer when the facility is open; they do not replace the terms of a hotel stay or parking agreement.

Should I use this table for a future trip?

Use it to make a shortlist, then check the official facility page close to your visit. The date above identifies when these details were reviewed; hours and rates can change.
